“Given the technical convergence occurring in all IT systems, is the intelligence function being forced more into the area of discerning adversary intent than capability. And, does this imply increased emphasis on HUMINT than on the various technical INTs on which the ADF has tended to focus – SIGINT, IMINT, etc? Can a time be foreseen when sensor to shooter information systems are so tightly coupled, especially with increased use of AI, that tactical level intelligence will be performed largely by machines with little or no human intervention?”
